DIBERHAZE

Diberhaze (he/him) is a young plunderphonics producer and graphic designer hailing from Argentina. He started by creating chopped-together beat patterns on Virtual DJ and has since rapidly evolved to creating fully fleshed-out, complex sample-based rhythms, hybridising instrumental hip hop with electronic dance music, as well as his keen ear for sample curation and his direct inspiration from the post-internet vaporwave scene. Speaking of, he is a co-owner of the netlabel Post-Internet Music with Nekora & hifur, and his side-projects include computers for sale, a take of his style with elements of eccojams and signalwave, tmsl, which strips back his style closer to its origins with relaxed, laid-back tempos, and the nothing app, which takes his signature glitch-heavy chopping and cranks it way up to levels of harsh vapornoise.

SUPER GOING

Pory (he/they) is a multigenre music producer and graphic design artist from Tasmania, Australia. He is responsible for some of the most creatively abstract plunderphonics projects to spawn out of the New Internet music scene. Under the multimedia art project time for panic, he has culminated an expansive discography helmed under multiple unique aliases; the main of which is super going, a glitch project that has since caught itself in its own whirlwind of ambient, noise, and drone music. Among others are HATENA, known for the most audibly corrupted future funk projects of the legendary business casual netlabel, bootlegbby, a side-project of snappy VHS pop, and vaio temple, since renamed to ラップトップ寺 as an overlapping blend of slushwave, eccojams and ambient music.

VIVIAN RAINE

Vivian Raine (it/its) is an experimental vaporwave producer based in the American state of Minnesota. It has been consistently crafting conceptual vaporwave since 2016 and has since put out project after project several times each year. Many of its most notable projects as of late include the bitcrushed ambience of Eir Mazur’s DATASEED, the evocative late-night lo-fi of national tv’s cruisin, the eerie throwback segahaze of newstarlite’s latest sky fall, and most abstractly, the improvised jazz noise album released under her own name, Porcelain Blood Canvas, among several others under a myriad of aliases well worth exploring.

While many of UNTOWARD’s contributors to the label’s first-ever release are yet to supply a solo project for the catalogue, that should not undermine the efforts of every individual artist present.
